Fever Pitch (2005)

Movie Review

Directed by: Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly

Starring: Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon, and Jason Spevack

Lindsey Meeks (Drew Barrymore) is a high powered executive on the verge of turning 30.  She meets quirky math teacher Ben Wrightman (Jimmy Fallon) and decides to give love a chance.  The two hit it off and enjoy those initial few months when everyone is on good behavior at the beginning of a relationship.  But unbeknownst to Lindsey, Ben is a die-hard, season ticket holding, the world stops spinning when a game comes on Red Sox fan.   It becomes clear that the off season doting boyfriend Lindsey first met is not the same guy during baseball season, and comedy ensues.  This Farrelly Brothers comedy is a treat for both men and women.  So grab a hot dog and a drink and enjoy the game.
