It's the end of the year, and you've missed a lot in the world of cinema over the past twelve months.  You want to catch up, but you don't know where to start.  At Sobriety Test, we would like to give you some recommendations for your movie bucket list and give you the insights on those awful flicks that will make the bartender your new best friend.  We'll tell you about the awesome flicks you should check out in our Annual Movie Bucket List.  We'll also tell you about the crappy films you need to dodge in our Annual Wasted Movies List.  Enjoy the lists, but more importantly, enjoy the movies (the good ones, not the crappy ones)!

Like the traditional movie bucket lists by genre, the Annual Movie Bucket List entry has a Sobriety Test rating, a short review, and a film trailer.  The bucket list has ten entries and five honorable mentions.

The criteria to be placed on the Annual Movie Bucket List are as follows:

  • The film has to have at least a 0.03% rating.
  • The film has to have been released within the last 12 months.
  • Of all the movies that have come out this year, the entry has to be a must-see film according to the Sober Film Critic.

The criteria on the Annual Wasted Movies List is pretty straightforward.  The entry has to basically suck.  The list is organized like the movie bucket lists with a Sobriety Test rating, a short review, and a trailer.  What stands out about the wasted movies list is that there are five toast-worthy mentions instead of honorable ones.  These five toast-worthy mentions are bad films that just weren't crappy enough to officially make the wasted movies list.

The criteria to be placed on the Annual Wasted Movies List are as follows:

  • The film has to have at best a 0.09% rating.  It has to be crappy.
  • The film has to have been released within the last 12 months.
  • Of all the movies that have come out this year, the entry is definitely one you should skip according to the Sober Film Critic.
